Handicaps

PGS handicaps are calculated from results at each  event. The computer calculates the number using difficulty of the course, best, worst and average score and how your score compares to the rest of the players on the day.

i.e. if you play many shots over your handicap but win the day because everyone else played even worse, your calculated handicap will be lower and you will  probably receive a cut to your PGS handicap.
